Show Synopsis
Spirit of the Young at Heart Don’t Act Your Age is a show about three 60+ men, Gino, Derek and Cliff, who are traveling across Canada on a voyage of self-discovery, exploring the lives of seniors engaged in exciting second careers, reinventing themselves, following their life-long passions, and pursuing their dreams.
Our three dynamic hosts will demonstrate through their adventures their belief in the spirit of giving and community involvement, and in the adage, “it’s not over until it’s over.” They volunteer their services as handymen for a project in each community, and also take in the local culture, characters, and the flavor of the communities they visit. Our hosts, like many seniors, have overcome health issues: Gino has two artificial hips, Derek had spinal fusion surgery, and Cliff had a cardiac arrest.
Yet instead of settling down in rocking chairs on the front porch, they are excellent role models for seniors, and people of any age, as they set out for adventure – three musketeers ready to experience the worlds and exciting lives of seniors across this country.
